![]() The first time iSerial Reader wants to connect to the internet for version checking you will be asked for authorization. The reader imitates a webbrowser when it downloads the information. No personal or other information is transmitted when doing so. The program connects to the hwit website to get the version information. ![]() This requires an active internet connection. This can be done automatically on launch or manually with Help > Check for Updates. ISerial Reader can check for updates on the internet.
